MEET TERRY

Terry Leach is a personal injury attorney whose practice consists of representing plaintiffs that have been involved in serious, catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.

A Central Florida native, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Technical Communication from the University of Central Florida, where she served as president of Future Technical Communicators. She attended law school at Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, Florida, where she served as editor and author for the Journal of Transnational Law and Policy. While in law school, she focused her study on business law, earning a Business Law Certificate with her Juris Doctor.

Immediately after law school, Terry worked as an attorney for the Office of the Public Defender, where she gained considerable trial experience. Prior to joining DDRB, Terry concentrated her practice on general liability insurance defense and was a partner in an insurance defense firm where she represented insured and self-insured entities and individuals in all stages of litigation, from pre-suit to trial. Terry handled a wide range of matters, many with the potential for high exposure, including, but not limited to, cases involving allegations of wrongful death, medical malpractice, negligent security, and automobile negligence.

Terry is admitted to practice in the Florida State Courts System, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
